Low power consumption, longer life, higher efficiency, and less heat emission were all features that made us forget about incandescent and halogen lamps. Then LED strips were introduced to provide a solution for lighting around hidden spaces and curves. Things got even better when cob-dominated technology was introduced to the competition.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LED strips were first offered thanks to the development of cob LED technology. Because of their versatility, LED strips can solve a variety of lighting issues. They come in a number of applications and are extremely effective, but there is one major drawback: hot spots. The arrangement of light emitting diodes on a printed circuit board causes hot spots on led strips, which are bright patches. We&#8217;ll compare cob led strips to Smd led strips, which are the most common. The chips are also equally dispersed across the strip, giving it more flexibility and allowing it to fit into tighter spaces.
