More Details.

1. This addressable led strip RGBW is 12V TM1814  4 channel RGBW 60 led digital strips that are different from DMX512 RGBW led pixel strips. Actually, the protocol is compatible with SK6812 RGBW led tape.
2. Compared to the integrated SK6812 RGBW ones, this external IC chip 12V TM1814 RGBW 60 LED strip has much higher brightness and stability.
3. Its advantage is this TM1814 RGBW digital led strip can play pure white color compared to that classical WS2811 RGB led strip couldn’t.
4. There are Warm white 2700K, Neutral White 4500K, Cold white 6500K white CCT to choose from.
5. The entire strip has 10 pixels ( 40 channels), and 60 pcs RGBW LEDs in a meter with a 10mm width PCB board.
6. The strip is made of flexible PCB material, you can cut this stuff pretty easily with wire cutters, there are cut lines every 3 LED. Solder to the 0.1″ copper pads and you’re good to go.
7. If the 12V TM1814 RGBW pixel led strip does get damaged, it is often a one-pixel copper unit broken, in such a case, cutting off this copper unit segment and resoldering the rest copper units together brings the strip back to life.

Installation tips

Power + controller + light bar
1. first of all, identify the direction: each section of the light bar has some small arrows, the arrow points to the direction of the output, indicating that the signal is transmitted forward; the direction of the tail of the arrow is the input, the wiring direction for our link signal;
2. each volume of light bar input (that is, the light bar in the direction of the arrow at the end of the forefront) is a three-color (red, green, and white) plug connector with a two-color (red and black) line.
The three-color connector (red, green, and white) is connected to the controller.
Red – positive vacant not connected (or connected to the power supply on the positive 12V power +)
green – the signal connected to the controller above the output port is usually: DAT
White – ground to the controller above the ground terminal (also known as the 12V negative) usually: GND or COM
Two-color connector (red and black) connected to the power supply.
Red – positive 12V power transformer above the positive terminal is usually: +V
White – negative 12V power transformer above the negative terminal is usually: -V or COM

A smart LED control circuit and light-emitting circuit in one LED package. Each lighting element is a pixel and the output is driven by patented PWM technology, which guarantees high color consistency across all pixels. The control circuit consists of a signal shaping amplification circuit, a built-in constant current circuit, and a high precision RC oscillator.  

The LED has a low drive voltage which allows for environmental protection and energy-saving, high brightness,  good consistency, low power, and long life. 

The drive IC is the well-proven UCS2904. It has a standard 3 line construction – +ve, data, and -ve. It is packaged inside the 5050SMD LED Chip meaning that each LED can be a different color and programmed individually. This LED strip is also IP65 PU Coated which means it is splash-proof and knock-proof, giving you that extra layer of protection. 

Priced per meter and sold in a continuous run when purchasing multiple meters.

If power and data are connected at one end, end the longest single recommended run length is 8m – if additional power is provided at the end of the strip, then the recommended maximum is 16m – the data signal is only required at one end
