1, indoor installation: LED strip lights for indoor installation are relatively simple, as it does not have to withstand the wind and rain. Installation can be directly torn off the back of the strip 3m double-sided adhesive surface stickers, and then the strip is fixed in the need to install the place according to the flat on it. If you encounter a corner or the strip is too long and too short, an LED strip can be cut or welded separately at each group with scissors marking the tangent line.

2, outdoor installation: bare board strip is not waterproof, drip tape moisture-proof waterproof drop but can not be immersed in water, casing glue lamp with waterproof function can be immersed in water, outdoor installation because it will be subject to wind and rain, can not be fixed with 3M adhesive, so outdoor installation often use the slot fixed way, the need to cut and connect the place, the same method, and indoor installation, but need to be equipped with an additional waterproof adhesive to consolidate the connection point waterproof effect.

3, power supply connection method: LED illumination strip is generally a low-voltage strip (DC5V/12V/24V/36V), so you need to use a switching power supply, the size of the power supply according to the power of the LED strip, and the length of the connection to determine the conventional strip is 5 meters a volume, if the demand is in more than 5 meters, every 5 meters through the red and white wire to supplement the power circuit.

4, controller connection mode: LED running strip and RGB full-color strip need to use the controller to achieve the changing effect, and the control distance of each controller is different, in general, the control distance of the simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, the control distance of the remote controller is 15 to 30 meters distance. If the LED strip is connected at a longer distance and the controller cannot control that long, then a power amplifier is needed to tap it.

12V Addressable RGB LED strip uses a TM1809 chip to control each led separately. This allows for animation effects that are not possible with normal RGB strips.

TM1809 is a 9-channel LED driver control IC. Internal integrated with MCU digital interface,

data flip-latch, LED high voltage driver, and so on. Through the external MCU control, the chip can

Using tape led lights based on WS2815:

• Power supply with 12V – it is much easier to provide a proper amount of power compared to 5V LED strips. Less current, less power wasted

12V WS2815 LED Strip:
